Sorry, there are no Fox Street dates.
The Fox Street sound is a rough and road-tested, universally understood
invitation. It’s an organic sound grown right in Denver, Colorado. From New York
City to New Orleans, all the way across the pond in Europe, Fox Street has
shared the stage with contemporary acts like Robert Randolph and The Family
Band, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and
Galactic; as well as members of legendary groups including The Allman
Brothers Band, The Black Crowes, Little Feat, and The Meters.
The founding members of Fox Street - Eric Low (drums), James
Dumm (guitar), and Jonathan Huvard (lead vocal/guitar) have logged
thousands of live performances together, giving the core of the band a certain
intimacy, a dynamic range that simply cannot be acquired any other way. Fox
Street has also been hard at work in the studio with engineer and co-producer
Josh Fairman (New Mastersounds, Ivan Neville, Analog Son) - the pairing
produced two internationally acclaimed, self-produced, full-length albums:
Welcome to Mighty Pleasin’ (2010) and Tough Talk (2013).
Teaming up with Fairman once again and returning from his Scanhope
Sound studio, Fox Street is ready to unleash their third full-length record -
Authentic Western Style - To be released in digital formats, CD, and vinyl LP on
July 28th, 2015. The new record features performances by many special guests,
including a partial reunion of the original Derek Trucks Band - bassist Todd
Smallie (JJ Grey and Mofro) and keyboardist Bill McKay (former member of
Leftover Salmon) are the featured rhythm section on many tunes; as well as
members of The Motet, Polyrythmics, Analog Son, and more! Pre-release
debuts from Glide Magazine, Diffuser FM, and Live For Live Music are already
heaping it on:
“With soulful lead vocals that ignite with authenticity and top notch
musicianship, Fox Street stands next to both Alabama Shakes and Tedeschi
Trucks Band in the spectrum of soul/roots/blues ambassadors.” -- GLIDE
