Zach Matari, the “New” Jersey Boy, is a Pop/R&B singer/songwriter & musician born and raised in North Jersey. A true “old soul,” his influences include Ray Charles, Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson!
On March 18, Zach released his debut DAY ONE - EP and within hours climbed the iTunes charts to # 5 R&B and top 100 on iTunes! His Day One EP also charted #7 on Billboard Heatseekers charts. This year, Zach's single "Up To You” won best R&B song for the John Lennon Song Writing Contest and is currently up for Song Of the Year!
Zach has been touring throughout the country and opened up for artists such as R5, Fifth Harmony and Mario, receiving more and more recognition with his nostalgic style of music and dance. Last year, Zach toured the country with fellow musicians Jacob Whitesides, performing in over 100 cities across the country garnering thousands of devoted and loyal fans. He has performed at many music festivals across the country including DigiFest for The DigiTour, Fan Rave, OMG Music Festival and many more. His energy, voice, and passion are evident in each show, verifying that Zach Matari is an all-around entertainer. He writes his own music and lyrics, his dance moves are smooth and electrifying and he stuns the crowd on his guitar.
Zach was also honored to be a part of the Arthur Ashe Kids Day, an annual tennis/children’s event that takes place with the United States Tennis Association. Zach is an advocate for Anti-Bullying and has been on the road with the Teen Nation Tour, a peer-to-peer community service program to educate and entertain youth about bullying in a way students can relate – through music. To date, Zach has spoken and performed for over 40,000 students and hopes to continue spreading his anti bullying message throughout the country. Zach is an active member of Musicians On Call, delivering the healing power of music. Zach has been visiting patients in hospitals in the NY & LA area delivering live, in-room performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their beds.
