Vices I Admire are an alternative rock band dedicated to writing honest and passionate music. Their strong DIY ethic allows them to finance their own recordings and tours, create much of their graphic design and video editing in house, and control their own booking and promotional work. They have released two albums independently, Plan B. (2005) and The Politics of Apathy (2010)

Vices I Admire writes the type of music they want; be it energetic, moody, heavy, complex or poppy. They are influenced by anything rock and many things not rock. These influences have shaped the bands sound into something recognizably intelligent and powerfully raw. A constant practice schedule and only one member-change since their 2002 inception has forged a tight live performance that leaves audiences gasping for air. Vices I Admire has recently shared the stage with bands like Filter, Unwritten Law, Awolnation, and The Dirty Heads and has played three Denver stops on The Vans Warped Tour. Their debut full-length album The Politics of Apathy found success on many college/indie radio stations and the single "Sweetest Girl" has found placement on numerous television shows. Vices I Admire are currently recording an EP to be released Dec 9, 2011. They can be found playing live in the state of Colorado.
