Grammy Nominated singer/songwriter Kara DioGuardi has announced she will perform three live shows in April 2011, in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville. This special event will showcase DioGuardi performing many of her hits, and explaining the stories behind these songs, in an intimate setting.

While DioGuardi is best known for her role as a judge on American Idol, Seasons 8 and 9, Kara is one of the industry's most sought after songwriters and producers. Her songs have appeared on more than 159 million albums. Kara is a Grammy nominated hitmaker, 2011 NAMM Music For Life Award winner, 2009 NMPA Songwriter Icon Award winner, 2007 BMI Pop Songwriter of the Year, and has received 15 BMI Awards for co-writing the most performed songs on the radio. Kara has had hits with Pink, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Theory of A Deadman, Cobra Starship, Colbie Caillat, Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, and Jonas Brothers, among others.

Kara also works at Warner Bros Records where she serves as Executive VP of Talent Development, Office of the Chairman. Kara is also currently appearing as head judge on Platinum Hit, Bravo's new reality show in search of America's best songwriters.
