Starlito

Starlito (Jermaine Shute) is an American Recording Artist, Songwriter, and entrepreneur from Nashville, Tennessee. He is the flagship artist for his independent label, Grind Hard. Starlito released his first mixtape in November of 2003, during his Sophomore year at Tennessee State University. January 2005 he signed a record deal with Cash Money/Universal Motown through a partnership with Yo Gotti, under the stage name "All Star Cashville Prince". By 2011, Star formally changed his name to Starlito and began his independent journey with a very grassroots direct-to-consumer business model. 

During 2013 alone, Three different Starlito Albums appeared on the Billboard Top 200 Charts, within a 4 month span (COLD TURKEY, STEPBROTHERS TWO, And FRIED TURKEY).  Some of his philanthropic efforts include a Little League Football program near his old neighborhood (250+ kids, ages 5-12), several scholarships, backpack giveaways, as well as a yearly turkey drive. 50+ mixtapes, and nearly 10 proper studio albums later, Starlito has cemented his legacy as underground rap royalty. He’s featured on several 
Gold & Platinum selling albums with Lil Baby, Kevin Gates, Lil Wayne etc. 

 In October of 2018 Starlito had his first child, a daughter. June 2020 he released his solo album “Paternity Leave” which celebrated embracing fatherhood. Starlito Is currently a full time father working on more original music and has become one of the most authentic and respected veteran rap artists of the 21st century.
