"I'm really just trying to put my blinders on and do what I do. It might take some time but it'll all work out" says Randy Montana. That's his outlook on the songs and music he writes. Growing up in Nashville and having a father (Billy Montana) who also took on songwriting as a career, Randy just wants to make a name for himself and write songs that are true to his heart. Throughout high school he had other plans for his future like sports and going on to college, but at the age of 19 Montana started playing in a band for fun and quickly realized music was something he wanted to do full-time. He began co-writing with other Nashville writers and after a years time landed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. After that goal was accomplished, it was time to try and land a record deal. This year Randy was fortunate enough to sign a recording contract with Universal and is looking forward to an exciting year a head of him with cutting an album, releasing a single and touring.
