Nick Thune is a good guy and he now has a comedy special to prove it. Seeso is set to premiere the comedian's brand new show, aptly titled “Good Guy,” on Dec. 22 – just in time for Christmas.

The first trailer for “Nick Thune: Good Guy” features a glimpse at the comedian hard at work in the business of making people laugh. The tonal clip includes a catchy background score by Richard Swift coordinated with black, white and a tad bit trippy visuals of Thune performing at the Star Theatre in Portland, OR where the show was taped. The trailer ends with a message which reads, “Also... The actual standup special is NOT in black & white, but nick felt this looked 'cool' and would 'stand out.'”

If Thune's recent stand-up sets are any indication of the hilarity that can be expected from “Good Guy,” then fans are in for a lots of laughs. His long-form story-telling has been incredibly funny of late and his dry, knowing stage persona sets the tone perfectly for all to enjoy. Thune even incorporates a bit of acoustic guitar performance ala his hysterical 2014 special, “Folk Hero.”

Thune toured extensively in advance of filming “Good Guy” and it seems he has earned a bit of a break yet he will be on hand to MC Rooney's Ho Ho Ho Holiday Show at the El Rey Theatre on Dec. 14. La Sera and Machineheart will also perform during the holiday event in Los Angeles. Previously, Thune has generated laughs at such notable comedy and music festivals as Bumbershoot, Tomorrow Never Knows and The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee.

“The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” “Chelsea Lately” and “The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail” are a few of the hilarious TV series on which Thune has performed. He has also appeared in a number of funny films including “Knocked Up,” “Extract” and “Not That Funny.” Thune has several exciting movie projects coming up in the not-so-distant future as well, such as “People You May Know,” “Mr. Roosevelt” and “Dave Made a Maze.”
