Walk The Moon release 'Shut Up and Tour' dates

On Sept. 10 the indie rock band Walk the Moon announced in an issued press release headlining tour dates for the fall of 2014. The North American "Shut Up and Tour" tour begins Oct. 8 in Seattle, and ends Nov. 5 in Philadelphia with their performance at the Underground Arts.

During Walk the Moon's fall of 2014 tour they will perform 20 headlining concerts around the U.S. in just under a month long time span. Joining them on tour for select dates will be Beginners, Public, and Finish Ticket. These concerts are in small and intimate venues.

They will be touring in support of their upcoming album. No official album title or release date has been announced. It has been announced that it is coming out late this fall, and during the tour they will perform songs from the new album. The lead single is entitled "Shut Up and Dance" and those that pre-order the album get an instant download of the song.

They will perform that single on the NBC late night program, "Late Night with Seth Myers" on Sept. 15. The new album will be the follow-up to their debut major label album, "Walk the Moon". It was released in June 2012 via RCA Records and it features their singles "Anna Sun" and "Tightrope".

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. local time. For more information about Walk the Moon's upcoming tour visit the band's official website.
