Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon was one of the biggest alt-rock hits of the past couple of years and Saturday at BottleRock Napa Valley, the crowd let the group know it, as a serious dance party broke out during the band’s set, both in the crowd and on stage.

Walk the Moon’s infectious brand of danceable, catchy rock was the perfect soundtrack to the gorgeous weather at the music, wine and culinary festival. After being forced to cancel their summer tour due an illness in the family of singer Nick Petricca, the Cincinnati band appeared very enthusiastic to be performing and the energy caught on in the crowd, where the audience was happy to reciprocate the positive vibes.
