Pop superstar Justin Timberlake premiered the music video for Michael Jackson's latest single "Love Never Felt So Good" on Wednesday (May 14). Timberlake and many of the King of Pop's fans pay tribute to Jackson in the lighthearted clip, busting a bunch of his signature dance moves.
"Love Never Felt So Good" is the lead single from Jackson's new album "Xscape." Epic Record's L.A. led the charge on this new Jackson project, sifting through a lot of his old demos and picking ones to be remixed by producers like Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins and Stargate. Michael originally penned "Love Never Felt So Good" around the year 1983, which is probably when he recorded the track as well.
According to Billboard, John McClain, co-executor of Jackson's estate, produced the new version of "Love Never Felt So Good" for the "Xscape" album. The breezy disco-pop track appears three times on deluxe edition of "Xscape": the new version with Jackson alone or featuring Justin Timberlake along with the original recording. The duet version of "Love" featuring Timberlake is dreamy with the two superstars laying on the charm thick in their respective verses. "Tell me, if you really love me / It's in and out my life," Jackson sings on song's show-stopping chorus.
In the music video for "Love Never Felt So Good," Timberlake and a massive group of Jackson fans groove to "Love Never Felt So Good." Jackson appears in the clip through images of his iconic past videos like "Billie Jean" and "Smooth Criminal." The fans really get dressed up for the occasion, wearing some of Jackson's signature video outfits and even busting a few of his mind-bending moves. Timberlake is the perfect person for the job to lead a full-on dance tribute to late King of Pop in the "Love Never Felt So Good" video.
Jackson and Timberlake's duet version of "Love Never Felt So Good" debuted at no. 20 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart last week, nabbing both artists another top 20 hit to their names. Jackson's new album "Xscape" was released on May 13 in the U.S. Timberlake is currently on the road for The 20/20 Experience World Tour. The trek will return to L.A.'s Staples Center on August 12.
