Reddit AMAs are fast-becoming the horse’s mouth news source for all types of information about actors, musicians and assorted celebrities and last night, EDM star and upside down booty shaking enthusiast Diplo used the forum to share some details about his hotly anticipated Jack U project, a collaboration with dubstep icon Skrillex.

According to SPIN, the superstar producer and DJ told a fan on his Reddit AMA that the duo are currently working on a mixtape. Diplo said that the first Jack U single will be a Kiesza collaboration entitled “Take You There” and that he wants to try to “get a stream of it out this week.” A fan-shot video of that song taken from a recent Diplo show in Paris is embedded above.

There's more where that came from. Last month on Twitter, he indicated a collaboration between the two producers and Mad Decent signee Riff Raff would appear on an upcoming Jack U album and the song “El Cuco” ft. Maluca -- which Skrillex has been playing live -- is also slated for the Jack U project.

While we all wait in breathless anticipation for the first Jack U material, Diplo has a number of other irons in the fire as well. On Tuesday, he released the awesomely titled album Random White Dude Be Everywhere, a compilation that collects music from several of his recent EPs and singles, along with a few new songs and remixes. He’s also been working with Madonna on her new album, saying that “We really pushed the envelope with some of the stuff we were doing." And SPIN reports that Diplo is also plotting a reissue of his surprisingly mellow 2004 debut Florida in November.

In the meantime, you can catch the restless DJ out on tour. His next show is scheduled for Aug. 1 at Maryland’s Merriweather Post Pavilion as part of the Mad Decent Block Party.
