Marc Maron adds dates to The Too Real Tour

Marc Maron's Too Real Tour has been one of the most hilarious comedy road trips of 2016. Even more fans are now in luck as the comedian has revealed a string of new dates that will keep him finding the funny in everything from politics, to pets to relationships well into the spring of 2017.

“There are a bunch of new dates for my Too Real tour up now at http://wtfpod.com/tour,” Maron announced via Twitter after teasing that dates and codes were coming soon. Montreal, Toronto, Boulder and Denver are among the great cities in which the comedian will be stopping before wrapping things up at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC on May 13.

Anyone who's been procrastinating on purchasing tickets to the tour needs to act fast as Maron hinted that the new dates may represent the “final run” of the tour at the top of his the Dec. 12 episode of his “WTF” podcast during which he chatted with “Manchester by the Sea” actor Casey Affleck. At his recent stop in Chicago – where he performed at The Vic Theatre which played host to his 2015 special taping “More Later – Maron related with the crowd on the state of the world with several hilarious bits surrounding the 2016 election and the unifying power of food and music.

Besides touring North America and recording engaging interviews on “WTF,” Maron has been keeping busy filming “G.L.O.W.” The series, which is executive produced by Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann, is set to premiere on Netflix in 2017. Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin are also cast to appear in the new show. Maron previously starred in his own self-titled series on IFC which he decided to end after four successful seasons earlier this year.

“Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist,” “Girls,” “Roadies” and “Easy” are among the other hilarious TV shows on which Maron has appeared. He also had roles in such films as “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, “Get a Job” and “Frank and Cindy.” Along with “More Later,” Maron's hilarious special's include “Thinky Pain” and multiple episodes of “Comedy Central Presents.”
