The Greek champions Olympiacos FC are set to play Manchester City of England on August 2, at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. This will be a Group B match that of the Guinness International Champions Cup.

The game should be challenging for both teams as both are current defending champions at their respective league. Of course, the English Premier League is a more popular league around the world than the Superleague Greece. The English league also has higher ranked club teams than the Greek league, and that is why Manchester City is the favorite to win the match on August 2.

The players to watch in this game are many for the Manchester City. The two forwards that lead the way for City are Argentine striker Sergio Aguero and Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko. These two strikers just came back from the World Cup and will be quite entertaining to watch their comeback with their club team.

As for the Olympiacos, the leading scorers are Greek forward Kostas Mitroglou and Argentine striker Javier Saviola. These two are a threat but the Man City’s defense should be able to hold, especially with Joe Hart, being the best English goalkeeper. Also, Man City’s defence with Vincent Kompany from Belgium, Martin Demichelis from Argentina, and Pablo Zabaleta also from Argentina should be a huge help stopping Saviola and Mitroglou.

The midfielders for Manchester City include Ivorian Yaya Toure, Spaniard David Silva, French Samir Nasri, and Brazilian Fernando. These guys are also world-class players and should be quite effective against Olympiacos FC.

Olympiacos also have world-class internationals in the midfield as well. Argentine Chory Dominguez, Costa Rica's Joel Campbell, and Greek Giannis Maniatis will be helping with the playmaking for the Greek club team. However, Man City’s defense is very strong and will be a hard task for Olympiacos to win.

In the end, Man City should take this victory for the 10th match of the 2nd edition of the Guinness International Champions Cup. Man City is actually the favorite to win Group B of this soccer tournament being played in the US.

Olympiacos, being champs from Greece and all, are still predicted to come in last of this group of the ICC. However, things never really happen as predicted, especially in soccer. During the World Cup in Brazil earlier this summer, the actuality of the predictions coming true were not that high.

Anyway, perhaps Olympiacos FC will have what it takes to defeat Manchester City. Conversely enough, Man City will most likely prevail and win by at least two goals.
