Jake Owen popped open a few of his most well-known hits for a staggering crowd on Monday, taking to the BMI stage in the sweltering summer heat. Following last year's blockbuster party, the singer performed an equally dynamic set in front of tons of his loyal fans. His set included his latest No. 1 single "Beachin'," off his 2013-released Days Of Gold disc, and was gifted a platinum plaque for selling one million digital downloads of the song. Owen was surprised prior to the event by music industry insiders, and you can check out the photos now.

Singer-songwriter Travis Meadows (Dierks Bentley's "Riser") gave an emotionally powerful performance, joining Owen onstage for a rendition of "What We Ain't Got." The song is Owen's brand new radio release. Mike Posner also appeared during the show for "Cooler Than Me." Additional special guests included Lee Brice, Sonia Leigh, Dan + Shay and Brothers Osborne. Meanwhile, Old Dominion and The Cadillac Three pumped up the crowd, readying them for one of the finest summer concerts around.

In support of his chart-topping, record-selling music, Owen is headlining his Days Of Gold Tour, which possesses a stage set to mimic his hometown Riverside Cafe. It includes tiki bars, nautical ropes and palm trees. Covering more than 75 cities, the tour is currently presented by Discover Boating.

Days Of Gold, the follow-up to Barefoot Blue Jean Night, has moved over five million tracks and numerous other hits, including the breezy, rock-tinged title track. Owen is most known for such hits as "The One That Got Away," "Anywhere With You" and "Alone With You," among others.

Owen first debuted his new single "What We Ain't Got," a searing lamentation of wanting the past, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently. The song was co-written by Meadows and Travis Jerome Goff and officially hit radio Aug. 11. "We ain't happy where we are," Owen sings on the first verse. "There's greener grass in the neighbors yard, a bigger house and a faster car. We ain't happy where we are."
