Jumping straight from their wildly successful Coachella set, indie pop rock band Foster The People are now hitting the road to perform in venues across the world. The dates for their upcoming fall 2014 tour have been announced, and it is looking like a true global event.
Foster The People will be kicking off their tour at the Manchester Ritz in the United Kingdom on June 26. Future stops will include the Glastonbury Festival, Festival Beauregard in France, Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, and Lollapalooza in Chicago, Ill. Recently added stops have the band going to several locations in Pennsylvania, a pub in Arkansas, and the Santa Barbara Bowl in California.
A full set of fall tour locations and events are at the Foster The People's website. A variety of bands will be joining them during different parts of the tour, such as Lykke Li and Fitz & The Tantrums.
Foster the People will be playing songs from their new sophomore album, Supermodel. In its debut, the album hit the No. 3 spot on the US Billboard 300 and was also the No. 1 Billboard top alternative and rock album at the same time.
For the newly added dates on the tour schedule, fans who want them will have to camp out at the band's website during this week. A limited amount of pre-sale tickets for certain dates will be available for sale this June 25 at 10 a.m. Regular sale for event tickets will be opened for purchase June 27, also at 10.
