The progressive-folk duo, Tall Heights, is made up of singer/guitarist Tim Harrington and singer/cellist Paul Wright. Based out of Boston, these two have perfected a unique sound that is hauntingly beautiful. The group integrates their vocal harmonies with some superb instrumentals, leading to a recipe that is destined for greatness.
Since forming in 2010, tunes like “Iron in the Fire” and “Spirit Cold,” which you might have caught on “CONAN,” have become signature anthems for the fans. This past August, Tall Heights released Neptune, which is the band’s first album with Sony Music Masterworks. “River Wider,” along with three other songs, are the result of one musician looping a simple instrumental part and letting the other write lyrics for it. With just two voices and two instruments, their aim to push themselves and each other, has brought about the ultimate collaboration that is moving this duo forward in leaps and bounds.
You can now check out the video premiere for "River Wider,” exclusively on AXS below.
