DEMI LOVATO RETURNS TO THE STAGE

Announces New York and Los Angeles Concerts

New Album Unbroken out September 20th

Demi Lovato will continue her highly anticipated return to music with two live shows at New York's Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom on September 17th and in Los Angeles at Club Nokia on September 23rd. Tickets to both shows will be available to the general public at Ticketmaster.com starting on Friday, August 26th at 10am local time. Members of her fan club will be able to purchase tickets early starting Thursday, August 25th at 10am local time though 10pm that evening.

Lovato recently announced that her new album Unbroken will be released on September 20th. Unbroken's first single, "Skyscraper," debuted last month at #1 on the iTunes chart, #2 on the Billboard Hot Digital Singles chart and at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her highest single debut on those charts. The gut-wrenching music video, shot by acclaimed director Mark Pellington (Pearl Jam, Michael Jackson, The Fray), is currently in rotation on both MTV and Vh1. This month Lovato celebrated her return to television with an emotional live performance of the hit single on Vh1's Do Something awards.

Media Reaction to "Skyscraper" "A somber yet gorgeous ballad the singer drives the song home with previously unseen singing power. 'Skyscraper' is not just a welcome return for Lovato - It's a new beginning" Billboard Magazine

"If I've ever called a song raw and heart-wrenching, I may have to take it take it back...Demi's voice is purposely left raw and unproduced. DAYUM gurl, you're giving us chillll" MTV

"If the ballad's current No. 1 placement on iTunes is any indication, fans are glad to have her back... and Lovato's raspy, crying-out vocal sounds gorgeousI was surprised by my own emotional response to it" Entertainment Weekly

Unbroken is the long-awaited follow-up to the # 1 debut of 2009's Here We Go Again and the #2 debut of 2008's Don't Forget. Lovato has performed to arena crowds across the world, been nominated for an ALMA award, won both People's Choice and Teen Choice awards and appeared on Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, American Idol and Dancing with the Stars.
