Ali Wong & Patton Oswalt top Moontower Comedy Festival lineup
Netflix US & Canada

For the sixth annual Moontower Comedy Festival, which takes place April 19-22, festival organizers have recruited a collection of hilarious comedians and live podcasts for its initial lineup announcement. Ali Wong, Patton Oswalt, Colin Quinn and many more will be heading down to Austin this spring with the sole intention of making America laugh again.

Since her special “Baby Cobra” premiered on Netflix earlier this year, Wong has become one of the most sought after comedians of 2016. Her raw, hilarious-style of comedy was highlighted by the fact that the comedian was over seven months pregnant at the time of the special's taping. Before heading to Austin for Moontower, Wong will also be performing in San Francisco, Honolulu, Los Angeles and other great cities.

Oswalt, who was recently nominated for a Grammy Award for his 2016 album, Talking for Clapping, is also headlining this year's Moontower Comedy Festival, as are Quinn and Ralphie May. Other incredibly funny and talented stand-up acts featured on the initial lineup include Michelle Wolf, Andy Kindler, Aparna Nancherla, Dana Gould and Tony Hinchcliffe – who stole the show at the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival this summer. Tickets for individual shows aren't available yet, but festival badges can be purchased for $79 - $799.

“My Favorite Murderer” with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark is the topped billed podcast at Moontower 2016 and “The Fighter and the Kid” with Brendan “Big Brown” Schaub and Bryan Callen will also be doing a special taping at the event. Big Jay Okerson and Dan Soder's “The Bonfire” and “Legion of Skanks” are also on the bill.

The Moontower Comedy Festival takes place in various venues across Austin, TX on April 19-22. Most of the headliners will perform at the Paramount Theatre and fans can also stop by The Townsend, Cap City Comedy Club, Speakeasy, 800 Congress and more great venues throughout the weekend. Last year's Moontower lineup featured the likes of Maria Bamford, Martin Short, Jim Norton, David Cross and more. Reggie Watts, Jim Gaffigan, Marc Maron and Wanda Sykes are among the hilarious comedians who have previously performed at the event.
