The 2016 installment of the Summer Slaughter Tour will bring some of the heaviest bands out there with its lineup of Cannibal Corpse, Nile, After The Burial, Suffocation, Carnifex, Revocation, Krisiun, Slaughter To Prevail, and Ingested. If you're down with some headbanging, this stacked tour will be headed to a town near you this summer.
The trek kicks off on July 23 inside The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida, and it will work its way to cities such as Baltimore, New York City, Cleveland, San Francisco, and Houston before concluding at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia on August 21. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday. A few more tour dates may be added in the near future.
This is the second time that New York death metal band Cannibal Corpse will be headlining the Summer Slaughter Tour. In 2012, the band co-headlined the trek with North Carolina progressive metal outfit Between The Buried and Me. The band's last studio album was 2014's A Skeletal Domain, which peaked at number three on the Hard Rock Albums chart, five on the Independent Albums chart, and number seven on both Top Rock Albums and Tastemakers Albums chart.
